1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using My Vitals ("the Platform"), operated by Eclipse Softworks ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

My Vitals is a healthcare appointment management platform that enables patients to register, book appointments with doctors, and access related healthcare services including pharmacy ordering and video consultations. The Platform does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. All medical decisions remain the responsibility of qualified healthcare professionals.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must be 18 years or older to create an account. Minors may only be registered by a parent or legal guardian.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

  • Booking an appointment through My Vitals is subject to confirmation by the clinic or healthcare provider.
  • You may cancel or reschedule an appointment through the Platform. Cancellation policies may vary per clinic.
  • We are not liable for missed appointments or scheduling errors caused by inaccurate information you provide.

5. Payments

Payments processed through My Vitals are handled by Paystack, a third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Paystack's terms and conditions. My Vitals does not store your card or banking details. All amounts are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable South African law.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation or infrastructure.
  • Impersonate any person, clinic, or healthcare provider.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Platform are the property of Eclipse Softworks or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Eclipse Softworks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, missed appointments, or reliance on information provided through the Platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
